The manufacturing of Alaskan Mukluks and fur clothing involves obtaining animal pelts where the hair is left on. Depending on the type of fur and its purpose, eskimo clothing for sale has always had a market. Fur is still used by indigenous people and developed societies, due to its availability and superior insulation properties. The Mountain Men of the early 1800's relied on fur for most of their clothing, and it also forms a part of traditional clothing in Canada!
Facts: Original Inuit mukluks, originating in Alaska, were made by binding them with animal cartilage and have a center seam running down to the foot of the boot.
